Astronomy, time in its purest form has been the source of inspiration for the Netherlands' most famous watch studio since 1974. It is the only watch studio in the world that has fully specialized in the design and production of exclusive, handmade astronomical watches.

Known for their unique astronomical inventions and beautiful design aesthetics: from the impressive 'CVDK Planetarium' - with the smallest mechanical planetarium in the world - to the 'CVDK Real Moon Joure' - with the most accurate 3D moon phase in the world - they are designed and manufactured in this atelier in Naarden, the Netherlands. All these beautiful timepieces are made with great attention to detail and only the best materials are used for our collection. We produce in such small quantities per year that each watch can be seen as a limited edition. All watches are therefore numbered.

CVDK is the winner of the most prestigious watch award in the world: the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) Calendar & Astronomy Award in Switzerland in 2021 - the 'Oscars' of watchmaking. Officially named on the 'Haute Horlogerie' White Paper list of the respected Fondation Haute Horlogerie (FHH) in Switzerland. Only 65 watch brands can officially claim the respected term 'Haute Horlogerie'.
